Manchester: A popular Pret café in the city is giving away free croissants. This is happening later this week, and it’s a big deal!

On Thursday, January 30, the café on Cross Street will celebrate National Croissant Day. They’re giving away 300 free croissants with every coffee purchase. It’s the only place in the city doing this, so expect a crowd!

According to Pret, this café is the top spot for croissants in the whole country. They sell more croissants than any other location. It’s pretty impressive, right?

They say a croissant flies off the shelf every 30 seconds in the morning. No other Manchester store comes close to that. Overall, Pret sells about 17 million croissants a year. That’s enough to stretch from London to Paris seven times!

They have a variety of croissants, like All Butter, Chocolate, and Almond. To snag a free one, just head to the Cross Street store early and buy a coffee. If you’re one of the first 300 customers, you’ll get a free croissant!

Anna Tebbs, the UK Head of Food at Pret, shared how excited they are for this event. She said they pride themselves on serving fresh pastries every day. With 17 million pastries sold each year, it’s clear people love them!

So, mark your calendar for Thursday morning! The free croissant offer starts at 7 am and lasts until they run out.

Address: 27 Cross Street, Manchester, M2 1WL.
