Altrincham: A big food and drink festival is on the way! It’s called ‘A Taste of Altrincham’ and will run for ten days in February and March 2025. This event is all about celebrating the town’s amazing food scene.

Organized by Altrincham BID, the festival kicks off on Friday, February 28, and wraps up on Sunday, March 9. There will be cooking classes, chef demos, and even supper clubs. Plus, you can grab food and drink vouchers ranging from £5 to £45.

Want to plan ahead? The full program will be available to download or pick up at Altrincham Library starting February 17. Keep an eye out for ‘A Taste of Altrincham’ stickers in local shops too!

Mandy White, the Altrincham BID Director, shared her excitement. She said the festival showcases the town’s diverse food and drink options. Whether you’re a foodie or just want a nice meal with friends, there’s something for everyone.

Some cool highlights include a sourdough baking class with MOST Bakery and a sushi-making demo with Unagi. Kids can even join a sushi workshop at Cheshire Cookery School. Plus, learn to mix the perfect cocktail at Memories Cafe Bar!

Food experiences will also feature a supper club at Blanchflower and a six-course tasting menu at Aspire Restaurant. Don’t miss the gin tasting at Gin Can and a wine and cheese night at Alibi.

And here’s something sweet: the festival will launch the Ultimate Pudding Competition! Participants can create a dessert that captures the spirit of Altrincham.

Judges include Chris Bisson from Emmerdale and the Great British Bake-Off. Adults and kids under 16 can enter by sending their recipes and photos to info@altrinchambid.com by February 24.
