Leigh: A single mum, Stevie Greenough, faced a nightmare on Christmas Day. She had just tucked her daughter into bed when chaos erupted outside.

Stevie was busy building a dressing table for her daughter. Suddenly, she heard her daughter screaming and loud smashing noises. It was terrifying.

Four masked men were attacking her Range Rover parked outside. They smashed the windows and even went for the sunroof. It was like something out of a horror movie.

Stevie rushed to the front door. She saw her daughter’s boyfriend pulling her inside just in time. If he hadn’t acted fast, things could have been much worse.

The attackers fled in a car, and Stevie called the police. A man was arrested but later released. The investigation is still ongoing, and Stevie believes they were targeted.

Earlier that night, she noticed a suspicious car driving around her street. She had a bad feeling something was off. After her friend left, the attack happened.

Now, Stevie and her kids are shaken. They had to spend Christmas at her grandad’s house. The kids are scared to be home, and Stevie is left with a damaged car and a lot of stress.

She’s asking neighbors to check their doorbell and CCTV footage. She wants to catch those responsible. Greater Manchester Police are still looking into the incident. It’s a tough time for her family, and they just want to feel safe again.
