A community comes together to support a man after a car crashed into his home. Neighbours are raising funds to help him rebuild and recover from this traumatic event.

Manchester: A man named Ibrar Hussain is facing a tough time. A car crashed into his living room while he was in bed. Thankfully, he wasn’t hurt, and his son was safe at his mum’s place.
Since the accident, Ibrar has been staying at a hostel. He’s been having trouble sleeping and feels really shaken up. One of his neighbours noticed him outside, looking cold and upset. She took him in, offered him tea and biscuits, and even made him some daal.
It’s heartwarming to see the community rallying around him. Another neighbour started a fundraiser to help Ibrar fix his home. He’s been overwhelmed by the support. “People brought food and helped me out. It’s amazing,” he said.
Just a few years ago, a similar incident happened on the same street. Ibrar worries he won’t get as much help since he’s a renter. He went back to his house to grab some belongings but found it all cordoned off.
Seeing his son’s broken toys really hit him hard. He was planning to sell the house but didn’t have insurance. Now, he faces a huge repair bill of around £60,000.
The GoFundMe page set up by a neighbour aims to raise £25,000. The message highlights how Ibrar is a caring member of the community who always helps others. Now, it’s time for the community to help him.
In the meantime, police arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the crash. He’s been charged with burglary and aggravated vehicle taking, and he’s set to appear in court soon.
