A ninth suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting. The incident left an 18-year-old seriously injured, prompting a large police investigation.

Oldham: So, there’s been a lot going on lately. An 18-year-old got seriously hurt in a shooting on Shaw Road. This happened back in January.
Since then, police have been all over it. They set up cordons and started a big investigation. The young man was taken to the hospital but is now stable, which is a relief.
Just recently, they arrested a 22-year-old guy. He’s suspected of conspiracy to commit murder. That makes it the ninth arrest related to this case.
Before this, eight others were taken in. They include three teens and a few guys in their 20s and 40s. Some have been bailed while the investigation continues.
One of the earlier suspects, Ethan Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere, is facing serious charges. He’s been charged with attempted murder and other serious offenses.
Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley is leading the investigation. She mentioned they’re making good progress and want the community to feel safe.
