Manchester: A guy named Lewis Howarth made quite a scene on a Jet2 flight. He was on his way to Turkey when he started acting up, and it didn’t end well for him.

The flight was just about to take off when the crew had to call the police. Apparently, Lewis was being super rude and disruptive. He wouldn’t sit down during the safety briefing and even insulted a stewardess.

When the police arrived, he seemed calm at first. But as they tried to escort him off, he flipped out. He started resisting and even tried to fight them. It was a wild scene, and other passengers were cheering as he was taken away.

In the footage shown in court, you can hear him swearing at the officers. He was clearly not in a good place, having downed half a bottle of whisky before the flight.

Lewis has a history of trouble with the law, including being drunk and disorderly. His lawyer said he was just trying to cope with his fear of flying, but that’s no excuse for his behavior.

The judge wasn’t having it, though. He sentenced Lewis to 14 weeks in jail, saying his actions were completely unacceptable, especially with kids on board. Lewis will serve half of that time before being released. He’s definitely learned a hard lesson this time.
