Have you heard about Crust MCR? This hidden pizza spot in Stockport serves delicious Neapolitan pizzas at great prices, making it a must-visit for food lovers.

Stockport: So, I decided to explore some hidden food gems in Greater Manchester. My first stop was a fantastic Hong Kong-style bakery in Wythenshawe, and it was a hit.
Feeling pumped, I set out to find a pizza place that everyone was raving about on social media. Crust MCR is a new Italian kitchen serving fresh Neapolitan pizzas, and I was excited to try it.
They started last year with a converted horsebox, serving at weddings and events. After getting great feedback, they opened a brick-and-mortar spot on an industrial estate.
Finding it was a bit tricky. My Sat Nav decided to quit on me, and I had to rely on my memory of the map. But I finally spotted it wedged between a car dealership and an aquarium.
Crust MCR is pretty low-key, but the pizza is anything but ordinary. They use top-notch ingredients, like Fior di Latte mozzarella and flour from a local mill. The dough is made fresh and proved for 24 hours, which shows they care.
I ordered my pizza through Instagram, and it was a bit chaotic, but the owners were super accommodating. I was amazed at the prices too. A 12-inch pizza is just £7, and you can add a drink for £2.
They have classic options like Margherita and unique ones like Hot Honey with pepperoni and nduja. There are also vegan choices, which is great for everyone.
If you have a sweet tooth, they serve cannoli with various fillings, and they’re only £4 for four. I got a meal deal with two pizzas and drinks for just £15, which felt like a steal.
The place is simple, with a few chairs and a green counter. When I arrived, it was quiet, but someone quickly came out with my order. I couldn’t wait to dig in.
Once home, I opened the boxes, and the pizzas looked amazing. The Hot Honey pizza was loaded with toppings and had a perfect thin crust. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.
The Parma pizza was just as good, topped with prosciutto and rocket. Both pizzas had that ideal balance of flavors, and the crust was just right.
Crust MCR nails the essence of Neapolitan pizza—simple and delicious. It might be a bit hidden, but that’s what makes it special. If you’re in Stockport, don’t miss out!
