Salford: A man named Carl Jones has been sentenced to life in prison. He abused 11 boys over two decades, and it’s just heartbreaking.

Jones groomed these kids, taking them out and giving them treats. But behind that facade, he was a predator. The abuse continued until 2023, affecting boys aged six to 16.

At first, he denied everything. But when the trial was about to start, he finally admitted his guilt. The prosecutor made it clear that Jones had a serious problem with young boys.

He confessed to 47 offenses, including rape and sexual assault. Witnesses said his home was always filled with kids, with games and a pool table to keep them entertained.

It was like he designed his home to attract children. Some brave victims spoke out in court, sharing the pain he caused them. One even mentioned trying to take his own life because of the trauma.

Another victim’s mother talked about the emotional scars left behind. They all want justice, and they hope everyone knows what Jones really is.

The prosecutor emphasized the immense damage Jones inflicted. He took every chance he could to abuse kids, and it’s just sickening.

Jones’ defense claimed he felt relieved when caught, but that’s hard to believe. The judge said a life sentence was necessary, with a minimum of 25-and-a-half years before parole.

The judge pointed out how Jones manipulated his victims, making them unaware of the abuse. He rejected the idea that Jones was relieved when arrested.

After the hearing, a detective called Jones a depraved man. She praised the victims for their bravery in coming forward. They had their childhoods ruined, and it’s just awful.

She assured that the police are committed to protecting children and supporting victims. The Crown Prosecutor also thanked the victims for their courage in bringing Jones to justice.

She hopes this case encourages other survivors to speak out. It’s never too late to seek justice, and they’re here to help.
