Arsenal is looking into social media abuse directed at Kai Havertz’s wife following their FA Cup defeat to Manchester United
London: So, Arsenal is digging into some nasty social media messages sent to Kai Havertz’s wife after their recent FA Cup match against Manchester United. It was a tough game, and Havertz had a chance to clinch it but missed, plus his penalty got saved in the shootout.
United ended up winning 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. After the match, Sophia, who’s expecting their first child, shared some awful messages she received on Instagram. She called one of them ‘shocking’ and asked her followers to be more respectful.
Arsenal has brought in a tech company to help track down who sent those messages. Sophia expressed her disbelief, saying it’s just shocking that anyone thinks it’s okay to say such things. She really hopes the people behind those messages feel ashamed.
The club might report these individuals to the police, and Instagram has already taken down the abusive posts for breaking their rules. Havertz will be back in action soon, as Arsenal faces Tottenham next.
