Two individuals were arrested after a violent incident at Rochdale Infirmary, following a recent stabbing of a nurse at another local hospital
Rochdale: So, there’s been quite a scene at Rochdale Infirmary. Two people got arrested after they caused a ruckus, and it’s all pretty wild considering a nurse was just stabbed at another hospital nearby.
A 33-year-old guy and a 39-year-old woman showed up at the hospital early this morning, claiming they needed help with mental health issues. But things took a turn when the woman started damaging property and even assaulted some security staff. Not cool, right?
Police were called in quickly. They found the situation in the urgent care department and arrested both of them. The guy got hit with an extra charge for public disorder on top of the criminal damage stuff.
It’s a bit shocking, especially since just a few days ago, a nurse was stabbed at the Royal Oldham Hospital. That incident involved a man named Roman Haque, who’s facing some serious charges, including attempted murder. He’s due back in court soon.
It’s just a tough time for hospital staff in the area. Everyone’s hoping for a bit more peace and safety in these places where people go for help.
