Recently, some reports suggested brides-to-be are opting for more wholesome activities like escape rooms. But Mike thinks there will always be a demand for male strippers, no matter what.
He mentioned that while new ideas are popping up, stripping is still a hit. Mike has been doing this for years and has seen trends come and go. He’s even had some wild experiences, like performing at a funeral and getting bitten on the bum!
At 56, he admits he’s slowing down a bit but believes the Full Monty is here to stay. He recalls how the movie changed the game, making full nudity the norm.
Mike started stripping as a broke teenager in 1986 after seeing an ad for male models. He quickly impressed his first boss and was off to the races. He even spent time as a party rep in Ibiza before joining the famous Dreamboys in London.
He later formed his own group, The X-men, and they had a blast touring the UK and Europe. Besides stripping, Mike has also made a pretty penny from TV game shows, raking in £70,000 over the years.
