Atherton: A wild scene unfolded when two thugs attacked a home. They smashed up a car and broke windows while kids were inside, screaming in fear.
This happened on Devonshire Road. The suspects showed up around noon, swinging golf clubs. They shattered glass everywhere, and it was terrifying for the family inside.
Aarron Grundy, the dad, was home with his two boys. His youngest was just a baby, and his older son was only five. Aarron heard loud noises that sounded like gunshots.
He rushed to the living room, and it was chaos. The front window was completely gone, and his son was hysterical. Aarron was worried for their safety.
After the attack, Aarron called 999. The council boarded up the broken window that same day. He described the scene as a blur, with glass everywhere and his kids crying.
