Authorities are looking into an alarming incident where a child was assaulted while returning home from school in Trafford
Trafford: So, there was this really scary incident where a child got grabbed by the throat while walking home from school. It happened in Sale, and the school sent out a note to parents about it.
Police got involved right away after hearing about the assault. They’re looking into it as a common assault case. Apparently, they’ve already identified a suspect, but they’re still digging deeper.
The message from Moorlands Junior School was pretty shocking. They warned parents to be extra careful and suggested dropping off and picking up kids from school for now. The child is okay but understandably shaken up.
Nearby St Anne’s CE Primary School also shared a warning, telling parents to think about how their kids get to and from school. This incident is part of a bigger concern, as police have had several reports of suspicious guys targeting kids in the area.
Detectives are on it, checking CCTV footage and looking into other reports. Most of those didn’t lead to any trouble, but one case of common assault is still being looked at. Plus, there’s another investigation going on about an attempted abduction in Irlam, where an 11-year-old was grabbed recently.
